Jason Bass joined Hotel Revival in 2020 as its first director of culture and impact after having served in a consultant role helping produce events and social impact initiatives since November 2019. As director of culture and impact, Bass builds brand loyalty through engaging the community, guests, neighbors and partners and curating cultural programming and events at the hotel and its food and beverage establishments. In addition, he coordinates and leads an employee engagement program where employees are presented with regular opportunities to volunteer and get involved with the community. An honoree of the Baltimore Business Journal’s Leaders in Diversity Awards and the Baltimore Times’s Positive People Awards, Bass has gained attention in the Baltimore area for his commitment and dedication to the City. Most recently, Bass was named the recipient of the 2021 Icon of Culture Award presented by the Independent Lodging Congress (ILC) as part of its annual INDIE Awards, which recognizes the achievements of independent hospitality enterprises. ILC’s Icon of Culture Award celebrates hospitality industry leaders who have curated unique hotel cultures and identities, creating lodging experiences that go above and beyond just a place to stay.
